Comfort Farm is a rare log beam house built in 1815, adjacent to a pair of attached barns built in 1840 and 1850, making it one of the earliest farms still existing in the Stowe Valley. Over the past 200 years, Comfort Farm has been maintained as a working farm.
The Farmhouse at Comfort Farm is being offered as a five bedroom, two and a half bath, seasonal vacation rental for the 2017 - 2018 winter season.
The formal living room has a wood burning fireplace and ample comfortable seating for gathering. A formal dining room is just off of the living room, or, if you prefer a more informal setting, the farm house table in the breakfast room offers plenty of space for your family and friends to dine and a wood burning stove to add to the atmosphere.
Around the corner you'll find a cozy family room with large television for relaxing, watching a movie or playing games. The first floor also has a full bath and two bedrooms - one with two twin beds, the other with a twin daybed and twin trundle bed.
Upstairs is a master suite with a queen bed, full bath and soaking tub. Two additional upstairs bedrooms share a full bath - one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds.
Firewood is provided.
